Talk is very cheap.  Some talk is cheaper even than others:   Barak Obama’s speeches are beginning to look utterly worthless when they’re not outright lies. Obama’s forays onto foreign shores for the purpose of dazzling “the natives” with his oratory have become downright pathetic exercises modeling “what NOT to do” if you’re interested in foreign policy coups . . . . 

Before going further, by the way, the notion that some miscreant hacker has made a criminal entry into bona fide scientific work is balderdash because a careful study will tell the reader that ALL  the e-mail archives found among the 61 megabytes of leaked information are designated by Unix time stamping from Thu, 07 Mar 1996 14:41:07 GMT through Thu, 12 Nov 2009 19:17:44 GMT.   In other words they are ALL extracted from an enterprise archive, probably by the FOIA Compliance Officer and not hacked from individual’s workstations. The big picture is that in response to Phil Jones’ efforts to make an end run around legitimate Freedom of Information Act requests of the East Anglia University Climate Research Unit (CRU) someone inside deliberately copied all the FOIA data and placed the lump sum of it on the Russian website. 

In Copenhagen and here in the United States panic has set in . . . in an effort to quickly get this “nightmare” behind them the leftwing proselytizers of a now devalued “science” are feigning ignorance of the Climate Gate truth and putting on a brave front. In some places the scam is working:  recently in New Zealand the legislature there opted for full cap and trade insanity in sharp contrast to Australia’s wiser denial of the flimsy and oft-falsified evidence backing the lie of global warming. 

President Obama has threatened the United States that if Cap and Trade isn’t passed immediately, he will sic the EPA on the country. Saying basically, “give me what a want (a “measured and logical” environmentally-friendly law, he says) or I will act to destroy the American economy with heavy handed interference in every aspect of American life. Mr. Obama and the Leftists are denying Climate Gate and pushing hard for Cap and Trade, seemingly ignorant of the truth that almost 31,500 American scientists (including over 9,000 Ph.D.s) have known all along and signed this online petition to verify their stance AGAINST global warming.

The country, more specifically the Congress must stand up to Obama’s ultimatum. In fact, the country needs to reject out of hand all further interference from the EPA into all commercial aspects of the nation until such time as a reasonable person is president of the United States. 

The EPA has already interfered nastily in Fresno County, California, the Vegetable Basket of the Nation in the middle of a multi-year drought. Thanks to EPA interference, virtually all normal irrigation in the county has been curtailed. According to the EPA the delta smelt, a tiny “endangered” fish, is routinely sucked into irrigation piping and therefore irrigation is halted.   

Rajjpuut suggest immediately that the two houses of congress collectively grow some testicles and collectively rise in righteous protest to this insanity. That righteous protest would begin with passing a straightforward one page law making the Environmental Protection Agency responsible for reporting all “suspected” instances of environmental problems to the Congress and that Congress decide upon all environmental responses, if any, to each suspected problem. 

For example, the Congress might make $150,000 available to discover and recommend sane methods to help the smelt to help themselves (perhaps screening of a certain size required around an eight-foot circumference of the intake; perhaps recordings of certain sounds might prevent the smelt-suicider from approaching the pipe intake) anything sane that doesn’t put 41% of the Fresno workers out of jobs and threaten the nation’s food supply will do. It is high time to bring an insane administration back to sanity.

After a whole lot of hoopla last week at a “jobs conference,” Mr. Obama then had the EPA label CO2 “a dangerous pollutant” at a time when global warming, CO2 emissions and the so-called science tying the two factors together has been shown to be a scam created by, among others, scientists at the East Anglia University Climate Research Unit (CRU). The fact of the matter is that the earth is cooling . . . more on that later, but it's likely the EPA's action will kill 1.2 million jobs, nice work, Mr. President!^^

                Scientific research might be difficult and take a lot of imagination to construct but at the end of the day we’re talking about congruent facts, coherent reasoning and hardnosed treatment of evidence.

                First of all, every grade school kid that the earth is NOT always at the same temperature. We have seasons, thankfully, because the earth tilts on its axis otherwise the earth would burn up in when closest to the sun and freeze when furthest away. Every grade school kid also knows that there are long, long periods of great fluctuation in average temperature (climate shifts such as the ice ages). Anybody who took the time to watch the History Channel DVD “Little Ice Age, Big Chill” would also know we have other semi-long-term fluctuations such as the Little Ice Age (1300-1850) and the Medieval Warm Period (780-1300) that preceded it. The Climate Gate material has proved that the CRU scientists conspired NOT to include the Medieval Warm Period in their 2500 year climate record, thus totally skewing the figures they used. (take the hottest 550 years in the last 2,500 years out of your calculations and the world’s average temperature (SURPRISE!) will definitely seem much cooler than it truly was and that'll make even a slight rise in today's temperatures look huge . 

                Every grade school kid knows that Viking Eric the Red’s lad Leif Ericson discovered Greenland and sometime around 1000 A.D. discovered North America roughly 500 years before Columbus’ first voyage. Why the school kid asks is Greenland called “Greenland” when its covered by snow, ice and sometimes 99% covered by glaciers? “Well, Bobby, in those days, Iceland and Greenland and a lot of the north of Canada really didn’t have many glaciers and Greenland really was green.” Of course when young Rajjpuut asked Mrs. Croutch,  “Why was it warmer back then?” she couldn’t tell him but just said that “the earth goes through cycles when it’s much colder and much hotter.” Little did Mrs. Croutch or young Rajjpuut know that there was actually an advanced Arctic civilization called Atlantis at that time spewing out megaton after megaton of water vapor, CO2 and methane gas and driving global warming . . . boy it’s a good thing that Atlantis sunk into the sea, huh?

                Older Rajjpuut watching the History Channel’s dvd “Little Ice Age, Big Chill” was of course shocked that Atlantis’ contribution to global warming in the Medieval Warm Period was never mentioned . . . ooops, maybe the Ol’ Boy told a little fib there, nothing, of course like the fibs they’ve been telling at CRU for the last thirteen years . . . . so what is the truth? Did Rajjpuut mention the earth is actually cooling?

Let’s talk about that cooling . . . . John Holdren, Obama’s science czar said so, said we were going to run ourselves into an Ice Age because of man-made global cooling (he wasn’t real sure of the mechanism) and he later wrote a book called “Eco-Science” that advocated all sorts of extreme population control measures (like secret sterilants in the drinking water, forced abortions, etc.) because of loss of plant growing acreage and over-population.

                Now the creepy folks doing all the cheating science at the East Anglia CRU are not well-known outside the scientific community, but Mr. John Holdren is and Mr. Al Gore is even more infamous. Mr. Al Gore is a far more infamous liar and climate alarmist than Mr. Holdren. Mr. Al Gore was within striking range of becoming the first global-warming billionaire until a few weeks ago when all those damnable e-mails and documents came out from CRU . . . .

                Mr. Gore was originally a tobacco grower. When his sister died of her tobacco habit, however, Mr. Gore became anti-tobacco, in much the same way that Mr. Holdren went from global cooling to global warming. It’s a liberal thing to do . . . . In fairness to Mr. Gore, that was apparently the last time he got anything right.  Mr. Gore invented the internet and probably hates what his invention’s done to his chances to be the first global warming billionaire. Mr. Gore is what’s called a “crusader” for global warming. A crusader is someone who can tell other people to do stuff that he would never do himself, a crusader is sort of the opposite of a leader. Mr. Gore owns a mansion. An energy audit of his mansion showed that Mr. Gore’s mansion uses twenty times more energy (i.e. his “carbon footprint” is 20X greater) in one month than an average person’s home uses in a whole year. Mr. Gore is also too good to travel with us peons on a plane. He owns a very inefficient private plane so his flying is probably about 20X worse for the environment in a month compared to the CO2 and other pollution that a normal person would create in a lifetime.

                Mr. Gore is then: a hypocrite. Mr. Gore also knows nothing about science and he lies with virtually every word out of his mouth about “global warming.” For example, Mr. Gore loves making wild statements that even the NY Times admits are wrong, like:

1. 1.        “Mankind has never experienced any environmental shift REMOTELY similar to the changes threatening us from global warming.” If you look at the last 15,000 years worth of average earth temperatures there have been at least a dozen shifts greater and some have been up to “20 times greater than the supposed warming in the last century.”
2. 2.      “Today marks the hottest temperatures the earth has known since the last ice age.” The same 15,000 year temperature trend chart would show that at least eight huge warming trends have occurred and it’s definitely been much warmer than today. Before the last ice age;  then again about 7,000 BC; and 5,000 BC; during Roman times; and, of course during the Medieval Warm period that preceded the Little Ice Age.

3.      3.  “Because of industrialization, the earth’s temperature has been rising steadily since the 20^th Century dawned (0.6 degrees centigrade) and we might see a rise up to four more degrees by the end of the 21^st Century severely endangering plant and animal life and flooding out low-lying human living space.” Mr. Gore here uses a lie told by Mr. Phil Jones of the CRU. Mr. Phil Jones has no idea what the temperatures did in the 20^th Century, he made the number 0.6 degrees centigrade up out of pure blue sky, he cannot document the number. Real scientists actually say the earth cooled between about 1945 and 1977 despite rapidly increasing industrialization. It has also cooled over the last nine or ten or so years. Mr. Gore and Mr. Holdren and Mr. Phil Jones have no idea what the earth’s climate will choose to do . . . or what that change if any will mean to animal and plant life and low-lying populated areas. Right now, there is absolutely NO correlation between man-made greenhouse gasses and the earth’s temperature. We just are too ignorant at present to accurately predict what’s happening or what will happen to earth’s temperature. Since global warming seems only to bring power and money to the alarmists and the alarmists canNOT predict what the earth will do, there is absolutely no reason to ever take them seriously, ever let them control our lives or ever let them take our money again. AMEN***!

Just 36 hours after an informal non-scientific poll by Fox News showed 59% of Americans believe that global warming science has been “rigged,” the highly trusted Rasmussen Reports conducted a wide-ranging survey of American attitudes surrounding the issue. Their report showed that most Americans believe the science is clearly NOT settled on global warming despite what the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Al Gore and the infamous Climate Research Unit (CRU) at East Anglia University in England say on the matter.

                According to the recent opinion poll conducted by Rasmussen, 52% of Americans believe that there is still significant disagreement within the scientific community over global warming’s validity. Only 25% of Americans think most scientists agree on the topic; while 23% say they are unsure whether scientific agreement exists. Like the informal Fox News poll, Rasmussen says 59% of Americans believe it’s at least somewhat likely that some scientists have falsified research to supporth their own theories on global warming; 35% say the falsification is very likely; and just 26% say it’s not very or not at all likely that some falsification of data occurred. 

The big surprise, however, in the Rasmussen poll is that the recent Climate Gate disclosures of a whistle-blower leaking CRU e-mails and documents has played very little role in the doubts of Americans about global warming. Only 20% of Americans say they’ve followed the CRU news very closely and 29% say they’ve followed it somewhat closely.  Part of the reason may be that the mainstream media has not covered the story and only Fox News has devoted much time to it. Indeed, according to Rasmussen officials many more Americans have followed the White House party crashers seriously than the Climate Gate revelations. According to Rasmussen, the fact that the United Nations has played such a prominent role in promoting the global warming issue may explain the doubts most Americans harbor. 

Only 22% of Americans regard the UN as a reliable source on global warming; while a full 49% say the UN is NOT reliable on the topic; and 29% say they’re unsure about the UN’s reliability.   Obama is presently headed to the UN Summit on Global Warming in Copenhagen, Denmark after recently committing the USA to a 17% emissions cut by 2020 if Congress will agree to it. Critics say the cut will devastate the American economy. Even while Obama and congressional Democrats are pushing major anti-global warming initiatives like “Cap and Trade” legislation and creation of green tech jobs, 71% of Americans doubt that green jobs can be created without seriously harming the mainstream American economy. Virtually the same 71% of Americans believe that stimulating the economy and the technology we already (such as oil drilling) have now should be the primary concern for elected officials since only 14% of those polled said the firms they’re working for are now hiring. 

A lesser surprise occurred here also as Republicans are much more serious about job creation even though they are still much more likely than Independents or Democrats to be employed. 44% of Americans see a conflict between economic growth and environmental protection and 47% say global warming is caused by long-term planetary trends, not human activity.   By a ratio greater than 2/1 most Americans say the legislation (Cap and Trade) now in the Senate will hurt the economy. Most voters think the news media make global warming appear worse than it is. Despite Al Gore sharing a Nobel Prize because of his stance on global warming with the UN IPCC, only 31% of Americans believe Al Gore is an expert on the topic and only 29% rank the UN as “an ally of the United States”; while 15% consider the UN our enemy; and 47% see the UN as somewhere in between.

Roger L. Simon and Lionel Chetwynd of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have called on Al Gore to give back the award or for their group to take back the Oscar awarded to the ex-Vice President for his “documentary” on global warming: "An Inconvenient Truth."   The pair made their request based upon Climate Gate e-mails that a whistle- blower posted on the internet revealing unprecedented corruption and fraudulent science at the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia in England systematically falsifying the data the United Nations used to support the theory that the earth is heating up and that humans caused it.   It's a crying  shame, isn't it, that the internet that Al Gore says he created has come back to bite him?

"An Inconvenient Truth," the film based on a climate-change speech and then lecture that Gore developed, won the Academy Award for best documentary feature in 2007 (coincidencentally, the very next day, it was revealed that Gore’s Nashville home used over 20 times more electricity than an average American household).  That year Gore nabbed a Nobel Peace Prize, shared with the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), and a million dollar prize as well.  No word on whether Gore has been approached by the Swede’s yet about returning the Peace Prize.

Gore also cancelled a chance to earn another million dollars just this week.   A “handshake dinner” costing spectators $1,200 each for the opportunity to hear Gore speak and get their pictures taken with him was unexpectedly cancelled. Best explanation, the Climate Gate scandal made so many people demand their money back that Gore dare not go through with the talk . . . by the way, the total “carbon footprint of the Copenhagen meeting on global warming next week is expected to rival that of Morocco for the entire year 2006.

                The liberal Democrats and Obama, Gore and Holdren all say this problem is not only real, but it is so critical that “Cap and Trade” legislation must be passed so that at the expense of $220 Billion each and every year, in which the law is standing, we can start to save the planet.   The 31,486 American scientists in effect all say “Bull Sh__!" 

                The liberal media is refusing to run stories about “Climate Gate,” where a whistle-blower put 61 megabytes of documents and e-mail from the East Anglia University Climate Reasearch Unit (CRU) on the internet to expose the truth about so-called global warming. The main stream media action, in not publishing any stories about Climate Gate, tell you that they know the matter is settled, global warming is real, there is no argument and certainly no doubt about the science among scientists, Climate Gate is just some hacker interfering with scientists doing responsible work. The Fox News Network is covering the material seriously. Scientists all over the world are aghast at what they’ve found out; and all England is in turmoil. But the mainstream American media, the liberal Democrats, Obama**, Gore, Holdren,Chu and Browner all say that Climate Gate is just an uproar created by some idiot conservatives who can’t understand that 2 + 2 = 4. Here’s one tiny example of what’s been uncovered just from a few e-mails in Climate Gate: 

“Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith re AR4? Keith will do likewise. He’s not in at the moment – minor family crisis. Can you also email Gene and get him to do the same? I don’t have his new email address. We will be getting Caspar to do likewise.”

                The AR4, spoken of above, is the information MOST CRITICAL for  the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (ICPP) determination that, yes, global warming was real and, yes, humans were causing it. The ICPP shared the Nobel Peace Prize for their studies on global warming with Al Gore. In the e-mail above, the head of CRU is asking four people to delete all their e-mails having to do with AR4 because someone using the British Freedom of Information Act wants to find out exactly what information and methods went into and what conclusions came from the AR4. In other words the head of CRU Phil Jones is telling them to break the law. CRU now says that none of the original data is available, it’s all been thrown away . . . . does that sound like real science to you?

                When CRU memos talk about “hiding” declining temperatures; when they deliberately did NOT use the Medieval War Period in assessing and averaging out the global temperatures of the last 2,500 years; when they keep magazine editors from publishing the research and views of contrary scientists; when their memos laugh at the death of reputable scientists denying global warming; and when they abuse peer-review processes to eliminate debate on the issue – perhaps the 31,000+ scientists are right. Perhaps global warming is pure bull sh__ after all.

                Perhaps you, like Ol’ Rajjpuut noticed an incredible treatment of an incredible story by Time Magazine online earlier today Friday-Saturday 11/27-28/2009. It was their cover story and their most viewed story of the day . . . . curiously, it’s gone missing in action . . . that’s right!

                If you can’t decide whether to call  the scandal at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (CRU) “climate gate” or “warmer gate,” don’t feel too badly, you’re in good company. Time Magazine online’s most viewed story of the day has seemingly disappeared into the internet ether and canNOT be retrieved any more.   In the name of yellow journalism, Time is waffling right along with you . . . . Occasionally a news gathering organization will get some minor story wrong and “pull it” or will modify if significantly . . . for a major organization like Time to go from superb journalism to Mickey Mouse political correctness in a matter of hours is absolutely unheard of . . . .

The very balanced story which Rajjpuut and others referred to in their blogs  about climate gate/warmer gate . . . seemingly “never existed,” at least that’s the way it will play out if top Time online officials have their way. The online cover story began “The University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit has had it’s email system . . . etc., etc.” has been yanked and does NOT come up on Time online local internet stories. However, an enormous amount of politically correct global warming stories and climate conference stories DO show up among about 50 which emerge when a search is made for “East Anglia Climate Gate” by Time online’s search engine.

                Time Magazine online must have succumbed to the politically correct philosophy of one of their senior editors or publishers . . . in other words, they are committing the same criminally irresponsible act as the scientists in charge of East Anglia University did when truth became the casualty of political correctness and individual benefit.

                Rajjpuut Deplores Time’s gutlessness and their expedient switch back to the political correctness now threatening to steal trillions of dollars in the world’s assets for the coffers of those who’ll benefit from continuation of the global warming lie.  Time has apparently put all of its journalistic eggs into the basket of global warming, much as the Chicago Tribune once put all its eggs into a headline that read "Dewey Defeats Truman!"  Rajjpuut can't wait to see the egg on the face of Time's bumbling executives.

“House of Ill Repute?” That’s what they’re calling CRU now . . . .

                On October 16, 1869 (yep, another weird event on Rajjpuut’s birthday) in Cardiff, Onandaga Co., N. Climategate, the deliberate falsification of years of climate data at the CRU (Climate Research Unit) at the University of East Anglia apparently for the purpose of convincing world leaders that man-caused climate change and subsequent planetwide warming are unquestionable facts just might be dealing a deathblow to one of the greatest scientific scams ever perpetrated upon mankind. Unlike such infamous but harmless pranks as the “Cardiff Giant,” “Piltdown Man” and crop circles . . . this scam cannot be called a mere “hoax” because political power; huge amounts of money; scientific reputations; and the very destiny of mankind were all severely threatened by this tragic misuse of the hallowed institution of scientific inquiry.

Two key arguments have dominated the field of climate science now for roughly thirty-five years: 1. so-called global warming and 2. anthropogenic global warming (the theory that not only is global warming a real scientific and measurable event, but that humans are the root cause of it) and CRU in England has played a major role in the propagation of vital “data” for the frightened environmentalists during much of that time.

The 61-Megabyte file recently downloaded and posted to the web from CRU has been acknowledged as “authentic” by Phil Jones, Director of CRU. The papers, documents, letters and emails contain information exposing a monstrous degree of manipulation and falsification of climate science data and particularly about the information used by the United Nations’ IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change). In a phrase, real climate science has been “hijacked and corrupted” by a small group of world scientists. While predominant names from climate science like Phil Jones, Benjamin Santer, Michael Mann, Ken Briffa, Tom Wigley, Jonathon Overpeck, Kevin Trenberth, and Professor Wegman have been implicated in the fiasco, there is also some indication but no smoking gun indicating that Obama Science Czar John Holdren has also played a role. CRU Director Phil Jones states “our files were obtained illegally,” but makes no apologies for the content of the internet Climategate files. Jones is infamous for repeatedly stonewalling the question of how exactly (data and method) he had arrived at o. 6 degrees Centigrade for the amount of global warming during the 20^th Century. The IPCC, of course, used Jones’ magic number as the basis for their report on “Global Climate Change” revealing that humans had caused “rapid warming” in the 20^th Century.

Not surprisingly, Al Gore and John Holdren are senders and recipients of several of the e-mails posted at the link mentioned above. The full extent of Gore’s culpability, IF ANY, has not been disclosed. Holdren, however, always a population-control extremist, looks very bad in the few e-mails disclosed so far.  One 2003 exchange between Holdren and TCSDaily.com editor-in-chief Nick Schulz, for example, reveals Holdren for the charlatan he is . . . .

The Straight Skinny About Liberal Dreams

                Good stewardship of the earth, as in conservation of resources and threatened environments and animal and plant life; prevention of toxic effects and substances despoiling the planet; some sort of wise and attractive balance between mankind and the natural world; and n0n-polluting power sources are what liberals call “no-brainers.” Unfortunately, not using your brain to go beyond these obvious desiderata and the practical implications for individual people and their governments is the reason that so many liberals seemingly act like they don’t have a pea-brain in their heads. 

                The amazing ability of green enthusiasts to demand draconian measures (including ultra-extreme population control methods) which show less than small regard for their fellow man while championing the survival of menaced mice, mosquitoes and mildew is shocking in its obvious misanthropy. In a perfect world: everybody would be green conscious philanthropists who think of fellow humans first.

                The green contingent’s miniscule regard for homo sapiens is easiest seen in the abhorrent and extreme population control methods advocated by Obama’s Science and Technology Czar John Holdren in a 1973 book he co-authored with the notorious Ehrlichs (Paul and Anne) in their “Human Ecology.” The book, said to have played a role in the passing of Roe vs. Wade later in the year, championed forced abortions, mass sterilization (via secret chemical additions via the water supply), mandatory body non-fertility implants and also paid more than lip service to eugenics. 

                The Ehrlichs and Holdren wrote: “a fetus is no more a complete human being than a blueprint is a building. The fetus, given the opportunity to develop properly before birth, and given the essential early socializing experiences and sufficient nourishing food during the crucial early years after birth, will ultimately develop into a human being . . . a fetus” is not considered a “person” under the U.S. Constitution until it is born” thus the rationale behind forced abortions etc. on “potential human beings.” Since the born child years after birth will ultimately develop into a human being, infanticide sounds reasonable, too, no?

However, Holdren, an enthusiastic worshipper of notorious eugenicist Harrison Brown is not alone among the “liberal elite” (is that an oxymoron or what?) in believing that only certain types of special people should be allowed to live . . . recently Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in a rather shocking interview with the New York Times said, "Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of."

There’s good reason to think that Einstein, who didn’t speak until age five, might well have been labeled as “a population” that Ginsburg “doesn’t want to have too many of . . .” Of course, 20/20 hindsight clairvoyance would help Rajjpuut decide his first candidates for abortion would be Ginsburg, Holdren, the Ehrlichs and Harrison Brown as well as mass murderers, tyrants, child molesters and all supporters of government spending and government interference boondoggles (GSBs and GIBs).  In fairness to the lady justice, it may well be that she only meant “poor people” we don’t want so many of . . . ???

If you were to make a litmus test to discover idiots from the ultra-right wing, it would probably include belief in absolutely no abortions even in case of rape or incest; creationism taught in all public school science classes and evolution banned; religion taught in public schools; and howitzers for every six-year old capable of hunting small game.  To discover extreme liberals perverts, however, the litmus test listing could be much, much shorter -- let’s shrink the list of beliefs down to just one item: POPULATION CONTROL whether that means ZPG (zero population growth) or NPG (negative population growth). One item? Is Rajjputt crazy? Consider this:

1.        Abortion on demand: plays first violin in their population control symphony.

2.      Global warming/cap and trade/green tech: all these supposed problems and impractical solutions are their bass instruments in the NPG or ZPG movement of our “Unwashed Symphony.”

3.      End of Life Counselors in Obamacare: any potential chance to refuse medicines or services to the elderly for cost control or intercede in the natural decision to live as long as possible is clearly their brass section since Medicare is the problem ($34 TRillion in obligations now and officially bankrupt in 2016) and the last six months of life cost one-half of a person’s lifetime health care expenses . . . the temptation to control costs by “omission of care” to the elderly is surely too great to be avoided.

4.      Curtailing human endeavor for the sake of “endangered species” (such as the delta smelt in California stopping irrigation of the country’s largest and most fertile vegetable growing region and driving unemployment nearby to 41%) is their greenie symphony conductor letting the world know who’s more valuable: mankind or a two-inch fish too stupid to avoid irrigation piping.

5.      Etc., etc. the main message of radical environmentalism is that people are the problem and the planet would be better off without any people, except radical environmentalists, of course, leaving no one to hum along with their symphony.

Rajjpuut finds this approach disingenuous, if nutcase greenies really cared for the planet, surely their own suicides would be the logical and integral acts affirming their love of the natural planet and hate for humankind? Save the planet^^, Greenie, kill yourself now! 

Of course, Mother Nature herself has on two separate occasions pretty well cleaned things up on her own without any help from Wall Street and other “polluters.” The comet 65 million years ago that brought on the demise of the dinosaurs and eventually the rise of mammals and even primates and mankind also wiped out 96% of all life on the planet: plant or animal; and 420 million years earlier over 98% of Earth’s life was extinctED, to coin a term, by widespread super-volcanic activity bringing down upon the planet a total ice age lasting about six million years if Rajjpuut’s memory of pre-pre-history serves correctly. Given that background a little more reverence for the preciousness of human life might surely be in order in Rajjpuut’s not so humble opinion.

 The more vocal the green advocate whether their primary focus is global warming, other ecology, or green tech . . . the more likely they are to be an advocate of ZPG or NPG. In fact many Negative Population Growth fans literally are promulgating desired human population numbers ranging from as low as 180,000 to as high as two million for the entire planet. To put that in perspective, 29 out of every 30 people living on earth would have to die to satisfy the two million figure; and 33, 332 out of every 33, 333 people now living would be sacrificed to the whims of those favoring 180,000. If that seems like some sort of cruel intellectual parlor game to you . . . you’re right . . . that is exactly the sort of Maoist-Hitleresque mentality that it takes to dream up this sort of philosophy of life. One suspects that the earth-firsters would see the necessity of including themselves in the 180,000 valuable survivors, eh?

The main reason that “thinking lefties and greenies and even anarchists” (Rajjpuut knows, yes, that’s an awful lot of oxymorons) are so in favor of forcing green tech down our throats (even at the cost of $675,000 and 2.2 real jobs** for every green temporary green tech job created by government intervention) is their fervent belief that the planet’s only hope, regardless of quiescent human population is to develop a power source that is non-polluting. In that desire and understanding is the only agreement that greenies and Rajjpuut have. Green tech is ultimately desirable. Green tech would be a godsend. However, it’s in the little matter of PRACTICALITY that we differ. To insist upon cap and trade laws now or on financing green tech now is putting the cart before the horse. Right now practical, AFFORDABLE, SUSTAINABLE green technology is a dream only.

A whole lot of people marvel at Da Vinci being beyond his time with drawings of tanks, helicopters, and submarines centuries before those ideas became practical. That’s the way it is with green tech. Let’s say that 40 years from now, 89-90% of the greenies’ fondest wishes come true and a 21^st Century Edison-clone comes along and does for power generation and green tech what Edison did for electricity . . . hurrah! What we must NOT do now is to spend today’s dollars and eliminated today’s jobs on pipe dreams. Now’s definitely NOT the time to spend money on green tech jobs and converting the power grids . . . not 40 years too early, for crying out loud. 

What we can do now is to fund research, and only research, by bona fide scientists/inventors (not global warming enthusiasts friendly to the administration’s viewpoints)who've proven their credentials most practically of all by winning contests open to anyone where anybody with a non-polluting or extremely-lightly polluting non-traditional energy source ideas can demonstrate the efficacy of their ideas. Winners win cash prizes, free patents and government research bucks for, say, ten years. When we find our Edison, then we spend and convert the energy grids, not before.

** This data comes from a longitudinal study of the Spanish experience with funneling tax money into green-tech and furthermore it showed that only one in ten green-tech jobs was permanent. Many of the green tech jobs of the five million Obama promised/threatened to create will only last three weeks or a month, or perhaps six months. This means that 22 real jobs are sacrificed to create one permanent green tech job, which alas, only pays $10-$16 per hour.

                Could that be true? Well, if we have a very cold winter in 2009, scientists wouldn’t be too surprised. Just this year we fell only a few days short of setting a record. After 51 days without solar flares, one came along and prevented sun observers from enjoying an occurrence that hadn’t occurred in 96 years.   The record was almost broken in 2008 as well. According to the profs, sunspots via magnetic activation of the stratosphere on planet Earth make things warmer.

                But, of course, the global-warming faithful are all about faith, not about science. When Rajjpuut mentioned this to a liberal fellow, he said, “That’s bullsh_t and you know it’s bullsh_t!” Imagine that . . . his devotion to pseudo-science is so strong that truth can’t be allowed to upset his religious services. Won’t say he was foaming at the mouth, that would be an insult to merely rabid creatures. 

                Hardly, shocking. The green-nuts grabbed hold of Rachel Carson’s lying little tome “Silent Spring” with its unsubstantiated claims and half-baked notions as if it were the original word of God. As a result DDT has been banned for about 27 years now and 54 million people have died of malaria around the globe. DDT can be drunk and/or used as salad dressing without ill effect, none too tasty, however. It has never been proven to cause harm to any vertebrate (backboned) creature. It does NOT change DNA in animals or make birds’ eggshells thinner.  But if you talk to a greenie banning DDT was the greatest success so far for their movement. Sorry to confuse Ya’all with the facts . . . idjets!
